How It Works

Our certified counselors will conduct a complete budget analysis to assess your monthly financial profile.

Upon completion of the analysis, the counselor may offer suggestions for cutting expenses and/or increasing income. Counselors may refer to our Counselor Resource List, an extensive compilation of social service organizations that can help with utility costs, prescription costs, childcare costs, and a host of other needs.

Based on the information provided during your counseling session, your certified Credit Counselor may recommend a Debt Management Plan to help you pay off your debt years faster.

  • Do you feel that there is no money left over after you pay your basic expenses or are you experiencing difficulty paying for your basic living expenses?
  • Are you not sure where your money seems to be going each month?

What happens in a counseling session?

A counseling session allows our certified counselors to take an in depth look at your financial situation. By reviewing your situation, your counselor can determine the solution that will best benefit you and your individual needs. As everyone’s situation is different, it is very important that your counselor create a personally designed plan of action with appropriate resources and recommendations that will assist you.
